At Taste of Banjul, we strive for 100% customer satisfaction. This refund policy explains our commitment to fair and reasonable refunds based on our unique fresh-cooking schedule and business model. Since we prepare fresh meals weekly on Sundays, our refund terms are designed around this schedule.

Refund Timelines by Order Type

Pre-Orders (Monday-Saturday)

Until Saturday 6:00 PM: Full refund available
Saturday 6:01 PM - Sunday 2:59 PM: 50% refund (ingredient costs incurred)
Sunday 3:00 PM onwards: No refunds (food prepared)

Same-Day Orders (Sunday Only)

Within 15 minutes: Full refund if not yet prepared
After preparation begins: No refunds (food in progress)

Valid Reasons for Refunds

✅ Full Refunds Available

  • Cancellation within allowed timeframes
  • We cannot fulfill your order due to ingredient unavailability
  • Quality issues reported within 24 hours
  • Incorrect order delivered (our error)
  • Food safety concerns

❌ No Refunds

  • Change of mind after preparation begins
  • Failure to pickup during scheduled time
  • Dietary preferences not communicated during order
  • Dissatisfaction with authentic Gambian flavors
  • Late cancellations (outside allowed timeframes)

Special Circumstances

Emergency Situations

We understand that emergencies happen. In cases of genuine emergencies (medical, family, etc.), please contact us immediately. We will work with you on a case-by-case basis to find a fair solution.

Weather & External Factors

If severe weather or other circumstances beyond our control prevent food preparation or delivery, full refunds will be provided automatically. We will contact all affected customers promptly.

Quality Guarantee

If you're not satisfied with the quality of your meal, please contact us within 24 hours of pickup/delivery. We'll work to resolve the issue with a refund, replacement, or store credit as appropriate.
